Computer-aided visualization of the high speed flow.

open access: yesJOURNAL OF THE FLOW VISUALIZATION SOCIETY OF JAPAN, 1987
This paper describes a new method of the visualization of the complex high speed flows contain shock waves, expansion waves, contact surfaces and shear layers. This method is based on the streamwise density gradient, then the authors call "streamwise schlieren method".

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

High-Speed Visualization of Nanopowder Combustion in Air

open access: yesOptica Pura y Aplicada, 2018
The paper discusses the methods of high-speed imaging of high-temperature processes in a real time mode: passive registration in the own light, usage of laser illumination, and using the laser monitor. The visualization results of combustion in air of Al nanopowder and thermite Al-Fe2O3 mixture are presented. The perspectives of application of laser

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Abrasion resistant characteristics of UHPC based on high-speed underwater method: Efficiency, process, evaluation, and mechanisms

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology
Abrasion damage is a major cause of reduced service life in hydraulic structures such as bridge piers, dams, and hydroelectric stations. Ultra-High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) exhibits excellent abrasion resistance and has great potential for application
