The impact of high-standard farmland on agricultural mechanization: differences between traditional agricultural machinery and low-altitude agricultural machinery

open access: yesFrontiers in Environmental Science
Agricultural mechanization (AM) provides a new path for the organic connection between small farmers and modern agriculture. High-standard farmland construction (HSFC) enhances comprehensive agricultural production capacity by improving the quality of ...

Miro1 Protects Against Acute Kidney Injury Through Modulating Mitochondrial Homeostasis via Interaction With Sirt6

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ischemia‐reperfusion reduces Sirt6 activity, thereby increasing Miro1 acetylation. Hyperacetylated Miro1 exhibits perinuclear distribution and degradation, thereby inducing mitochondrial dysfunction and promoting apoptosis in renal tubular epithelial cells. This pathway reveals a mechanistic link between Sirt6‐mediated deacetylation and Miro1 stability

The impact of high-standard farmland construction (HSFC) on China's agricultural resilience

open access: yes
Abstract The development of high-standard farmland (HSF) constitutes a crucial strategy for enhancing agricultural infrastructure, which significantly contributes to increasing agricultural production and catalyzing agroeconomic growth. The present study devises an index system to evaluate agricultural resilience (AR) in China, anchored

A Novel Pak1 Activator Ameliorates ER Stress for HFpEF Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chronic metabolic stress is a major contributor to HFpEF progression. Under prolonged metabolic stress, Pak1 activity becomes impaired, contributing to disrupted ER proteostasis, cardiomyocyte apoptosis, fibrosis, and diastolic dysfunction. Mechanistically, Pak1 overexpression activates the ERK1/2–MNK1–eIF4E signaling axis, promotes translational ...

Targeting CXCR2 in Nociceptive Sensory Neurons Offers Novel Therapeutic Potentials for Postoperative Pain

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tissue incision induces CXCL5 release, which activates neuronal CXCR2 on incision‐innervating sensory neurons. Neuronal CXCR2 couples with TRPA1 to drive mechanical pain and engages p38 MAPK signaling to upregulate TRPV1 and promote heat pain. Targeted Cxcr2 knockdown relieves incisional pain while preserving CXCR2‐dependent neutrophil responses ...

Asymmetric Evolution of Antennal Cell Types Underlies a Derived Ammonia‐Sensing Logic for Ecological Adaptation in Bactrocera dorsalis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Comparative antennal single‐nucleus transcriptomics reveals cell‐type‐dependent transcriptomic divergence in Bactrocera dorsalis, with similar structural cells but divergent sensory neurons. This neuronal diversification is associated with a distinct ammonia‐sensing pathway, linking female attraction to bird‐dropping‐associated cues with nutritional ...

Improved Direct Ink Writing of Liquid Metal Foams via Liquid Additives

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The ability to pattern liquid metal is useful for making soft electrical and thermal devices. Dispensing liquid metal from a nozzle naturally results in the formation of spheroidal droplets, making direct‐write printing challenging. Liquid metal foams containing pockets of air can extrude as filaments, albeit inconsistently.
