Thinking of High Standard Farmland Construction Based on Analysis of Cultivated Land Potential

open access: yesAcademic Journal of Science and Technology, 2022
Accelerating the construction of high standard farmland is a major decision of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council to strengthen the work of "agriculture, countryside and farmers". In the past two years, accelerating the construction of high standard farmland has been regarded as an important part of strengthening the material support and ...

Cholesterol‐Mediated Metabolic‐mechanotransductive Crosstalk Orchestrates Castration Resistance in Prostate Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Full androgen deprivation (FAD) induces paracrine cholesterol in prostate cancer that drives the polarization of cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) and subsequent elevated matrix stiffness. Matrix stiffness in turn potentiates tumor cell survival under FAD pressure via dual mechanotransductive activation of the IRE1α‐XBP1s stress‐response axis ...

Contractual and relational governance in high-standard farmland management: evidence from hunan province, China

open access: yesFrontiers in Sustainable Food Systems
As a key influencing factor of governance effectiveness, sound organizational operations in practice are largely attributable to the application of appropriate governance mechanisms.

Closed‐Loop Radiative Cooling Mulch Upcycled From Agricultural Residues for Efficient Soil Heat–Water Stress Mitigation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Conventional passive radiative cooling films rely on costly feedstocks and energy‐intensive fabrication, with poor end‐of‐life compatibility in agriculture. To address this challenge, a sustainable radiative cooling mulch (SRCM) is developed from waste maize leaves via spontaneous hydrogen‐bond self‐assembly.

A Conserved DT2‐bZIP66‐NF‐YC4 Regulatory Module Confers Drought Tolerance in Rice and Arabidopsis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies a conserved tripartiteDT2–bZIP66–NF‐YC4 transcriptional module that enhances rice drought tolerance by activating stress‐responsive genes. This regulatory complex is functionally conserved across cereals and Arabidopsis, providing promising targets for engineering drought‐resilient crops. ABSTRACT Drought stress severely restricts

Exploration into the Improvement of High Standard Farmland Quality Grades in Xi'an City

open access: yesFrontiers in Humanities and Social Sciences
High standard farmland construction projects are a rare historical opportunity for economic and social development. Practice has proven that high standard farmland projects are a key measure for developing modern agriculture, increasing farmers' income, and promoting the construction of new rural areas.

Carbon sequestration effects of agricultural high-quality development: evidence from China’s high-standard farmland construction

open access: yesEnvironmental Research Communications
Based on the perspective of carbon sequestration, this paper selects county-level panel data from China from 2000 to 2017 and uses a Difference-in-Differences (DID) Model to examine the impact of the high-standard basic farmland construction (HSFC) on ...

Identification of a Nonribosomal Peptide Analog With Activity Against Multiple Gram‐Positive Bacteria via a Synthetic Bioinformatic Natural Product Discovery Approach

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The genome of Rhodococcus erythropolis D‐1 was analyzed by bioinformatic tools to mine a novel nonribosomal peptide synthetase (NRPS) gene cluster. A nonribosomal peptide analog ZURJC5 associated with the NRPS was chemically synthesized. Through structure‐activity relationship studies, ZURJC28 was ultimately obtained and showed antibacterial activity ...
