Dual-phase superconductivity in high-pressure high-temperature synthesized TaNbZrHfTi
We report on a novel TaNbZrHfTi-based high entropy alloy (HEA) which demonstrates distinctive dual-phase superconductivity. The HEA was synthesized under high pressures and high temperatures starting from a ball milled mixture of elemental metals in a ...

External pressure directly tunes the breathing distortion of the kagome lattice in Fe3Sn2, suppressing it near 15 GPa and reversing it at higher pressures. This structural modulation drives a cascade of Lifshitz transitions, reconstructs the Fermi surface, strengthens electronic correlations and carrier localization, and modifies ultrafast electron ...

This work illustrates that magnetic Fe substitution enables systematic modulation of physical properties of the putative unconventional superconductor Rh17S15. Iron doping uncovers delicate competition between weak ferromagnetism, spin‐glass states, heavy‐fermion signatures, and superconductivity.

Suppression of Peierls Instability in a Metal−Halide Porous Framework
Peierls distortion in one‐dimensional Pt‐I chains is suppressed by confinement within the periodic electrostatic environment of a porous Cu–I framework. X‐ray crystallography shows equivalent Pt–I distances without bond alternation, and conductivity of the Pt‐I chains is greatly enhanced.

A straightforward method is introduced to produce ion‐gel films with very low surface roughness by employing a solution‐shearing coating process. These ion‐gel films permit the growth of crystalline thin films of various small molecule organic semiconductor molecules directly on top of the ion‐gel layer, thereby enabling “inverted” small molecule ...

High‐Pressure Synthesis of Quantum‐Stabilised Manganese Superhydride MnH7
Superhydrides are a rarity in transition metal hosts. Through high‐pressure, high‐temperature diamond anvil cell studies, the most hydrogen‐rich transition metal hydride, MnH7${\rm MnH}_7$ has been synthesised. Density functional theory calculations demonstrate that zero‐point energy stabilises the crystalline structure that MnH7${\rm MnH}_7$ adopts ...

Our work bridges the gap between skyrmion discovery and material design by demonstrating how atomic‐scale control of exchange interactions enables tunable skyrmion phase transitions in centrosymmetric magnetic metals. ABSTRACT Magnetic skyrmions are topologically protected spin states that hold promise for shaping the future of electronics.
