Microwave Detection Properties of Asymmetrically Narrowed YBa2Cu3O7–x Structures
Results of our research demonstrate possibilities of detection of microwaves radiation by means of asymmetrically narrowed YBa2Cu3O7-x oxygen-rich (x ≤ 0.2) and oxygen-decomposed (x > 0.5) in the necked region at temperatures higher than the critical ...

High Temperature Superconductivity: Ineluctable Complexity [PDF]
The discovery of charge-density-wave order in the high-temperature superconductor YBa$_2$Cu$_3$O$_{6+y}$ places charge order centre stage with superconductivity, suggesting they they are intertwined rather than competing.Comment: 3 pages, 1 figure, 19 ...

Antenna arrays based on Golomb rulers made of copper and superconducting elements
The features of the amplitude behavior of the electromagnetic waves (the profile of a standing wave) reflected by antenna arrays have been studied. These arrays are Golomb rulers of different orders made of copper and HTSC structures.

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

A First-principles Prediction of Two-Dimensional Superconductivity in Pristine B2C Single layer
Based on first-principles lattice dynamics and electron-phonon coupling calculations, B2C sheet is predicted to be a two-dimensional (2D) phonon-mediated superconductor with a relatively high transition temperature (Tc).

The layer‐by‐layer (LbL) assembly of coordination solids, enabled by the surface‐mounted metal‐organic framework (SURMOF) platform, is on the cusp of generating the organic counterpart of the epitaxy of inorganics. The programmable and sequential SURMOF protocol, optimized by machine learning (ML), is suited for accessing high‐quality thin films of ...

MOFs and COFs in Electronics: Bridging the Gap between Intrinsic Properties and Measured Performance
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold promise for advanced electronics. However, discrepancies in reported electrical conductivities highlight the importance of measurement methodologies. This review explores intrinsic charge transport mechanisms and extrinsic factors influencing performance, and critically ...
