Gorkov equations for a pseudo-gapped high temperature superconductor
A theory of superconductivity based on the two-body Cooperon propagator is presented. This theory takes the form of a modified Gorkov equation for the Green's function and allows one to model the effect of local superconducting correlations and long ...

Kinetic Regimes of Hydrogen Absorption in Thin Films
Knowledge of the hydrogen incorporation mechanisms in thin layers in relation to the amount absorbed is essential to design coatings and devices compatible with hydrogen‐based technologies. A combination of simultaneous in situ methods gives detailed insight into the hydrogenation of a prototypical hydrogen absorber layer in a time‐dependent manner ...

Overdoping high temperature superconductors, such as YBa2Cu3O7‐δ (YBCO), is expected to maxime the critical current density by optimising the condensation energy for a given defect landscape, providing new thrust for the development of fusion enabling coated conductors. Here, precise oxygen control is achieved via an electrochemical method allowing for

Instabilities of High Temperature Superconductors [PDF]
We have observed the transition temperature of both the cubic and tetragonal phases of several high-temperature β-W superconductors. The instability of the cubic lattice appears to be characteristic of high-temperature superconductors.

Chirality and Organization of Adsorbates Modify Surface Phonon Dynamics
Chirality and molecular organization are shown to influence surface phonon dynamics in gold films. Time‐resolved Joule heating measurements reveal that ordered homochiral monolayers increase the Debye temperature and disordered layers reduce it, while ordered racemic controls have no effect.

High-temperature superconductors
One of the main areas of focus in condensed matter physics over the past several years has been research on high-temperature superconductors and their physical characteristics. One of a metal’s most crucial characteristics is its electrical resistivity, and scientists were especially curious about how this value varied with temperature.

Strain Engineering of Magnetoresistance and Magnetic Anisotropy in CrSBr
Biaxial compressive strain significantly enhances magnetoresistance and critical saturation fields in thin flakes of the 2D magnet CrSBr, along all three crystallographic axes. First‐principles calculations link these effects to strain‐induced increases in exchange interactions and magnetic anisotropy.
