High-Throughput Protein Sequencing

Analytical Chemistry, 2003
We have designed and implemented an autosampler that provides additional sample capacity on a commercial protein sequencer. The autosampler attaches to a standard ABI Procise sequencer, enabling a single-sample cartridge to hold up to six separate samples. The autosampler is used in combination with faster Edman cycles and a rapid 12-min PTH separation

High-Throughput Sequencing Technologies

2021
Optical and biochemical methods determine the sequence of nucleotide bases in a DNA macromolecule. Since 2010, considerable progress has been made on DNA sequencing technology. There are various high-throughput sequencing (HTS) technologies, such as Roche 454, Illumina dye sequencing, PacBio’s SMRT, Ion Torrent, Oxford Nanopore, SOLiD, and DNA nano ...

High-Throughput Sequencing and Metagenomics [PDF]

open access: possibleEstuaries and Coasts, 2009
The fields of biology and environmental health are undergoing an unprecedented transformation in the way communities are characterized and studied. One of the catalysts for this change has been the advent of high-throughput sequencing (aka next-generation sequencing).

High-Throughput Yeast Strain Sequencing

Cold Spring Harbor Protocols, 2016
The original yeast genome sequencing project was a monumental task, spanning several years, which resulted in the first sequenced eukaryotic genome. The 12 Mbp reference sequence was generated from yeast strain S288c and was of extremely high quality. In the years since it was published, sequencing technology has advanced apace, such that it is within ...
