Treatment of venomous bite by high voltage direct current.
The Journal of the Oklahoma State Medical Association, 1990Between September 1988 and September 1989, 21 cases of confirmed or suspected spider bite were treated with high voltage direct current electric shock. In every case, tissue damage was arrested with the first treatment, and none of the cases required excision or graft.
