Study on the gridded electron gun with high compression ratio
2002 3rd International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology, 2002. Proceedings. ICMMT 2002., 2003The electron gun structure sizes were obtained with a fast calculation method. An electron gun with a perveance of p/sub /spl mu//>1 /spl mu/p and the area compression ratio M/sup 2/ > 50 was designed with the GUND4.FOR program.

Design of direct digital frequency synthesizer with high ROM compression ratio
2005 12th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems, 2005A new ROM size reduction technique for direct digital frequency synthesizers (DDFS's) is proposed in this paper. In the new technique, a multiple-segment piecewise polynomial function is g(x)determined for the sinusoidal ROM table which stores the values of sin(pix/2)-g(x) instead of sin(pix/2).
