HDR-BVQM: High dynamic range blind video quality model
Multimedia Tools and Applications, 2021Considerable progress has been made toward developing standard dynamic range (SDR) blind video quality assessment (BVQA) models that do not require any baseline reference for quality prediction. However, there is no such method for the high dynamic range (HDR) content.

A CMOS video sensor for High Dynamic Range (HDR) imaging
2008 42nd Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems and Computers, 2008A CMOS video sensor for high dynamic range (HDR) imaging is discussed. Unlike traditional memory-intensive methods for HDR imaging where frames with different exposure times are digitally combined to obtain an HDR frame, HDR imaging is accomplished in the sensor at pixel level by digitally combining sub-pixels with different exposure times to obtain an

High Dynamic Range (HDR) Signal Processing on Software-Defined Radio
2020 IEEE SENSORS, 2020We introduce the application of high dynamic range (HDR) technique on radio frequency (RF) signals to increase the dynamic range of these signals beyond the hardware system limitations. To demonstrate this concept, this study uses commercially available software-defined radios (SDRs) with 48 dB of dynamic range.

HDR (High Dynamic Range) Audio Wearable and Its Performance Visualization
2020 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC), 2020We introduce a novel use of wearable technology to reconstruct and output high dynamic range (HDR) audio signals. The purpose of designing an end-to-end HDR audio wearable device is to create an audio device capable of replicating and even extending the dynamic range of human hearing.

Visual saliency aided High Dynamic Range (HDR) video quality metrics
2016 IEEE International Conference on Communications Workshops (ICC), 2016As High Dynamic Range (HDR) video is emerging as the next revolution in digital entertainment, finding effective ways for measuring its visual quality is of paramount importance. In this paper, we utilize the saliency information derived from an HDR Visual Attention Model (VAM), called LBVS-HDR, for assessing the quality of HDR video content.

A new hybrid tone mapping scheme for high dynamic range (HDR) videos
2015 IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics (ICCE), 2015In this study we present a hybrid scheme aiming at tone mapping high dynamic range (HDR) videos into low dynamic range (LDR), to achieve the best possible way of showing HDR content on LDR displays. The proposed scheme selectively tone maps different regions of each frame such that the visually important information is preserved.

High Dynamic Range (HDR) Imaging using Color Gamut Mapping
2018 4th International Conference on Applied and Theoretical Computing and Communication Technology (iCATccT), 2018Images can be mapped from Low dynamic range (LDR) to high dynamic range (HDR) using Tone Mapping to view HD images on standard display. Existing algorithm on tone mapping suffers an inherent drawback in that they often work with insufficient information and this could lead to undesirable outputs.
