Crystal growth and the steady-state grain size during high-energy ball-milling
The change in crystal size during high-energy ball-milling of hematite and zinc sulphide powders with initial average crystal size of 8 nm and 4 nm, respectively, has been investigated by X-ray powder diffraction and transmission electron microscopy.

The interfacial stability and activity of Ni‐Fe‐based AEMWE anodes can be directly enhanced by operando voltage‐cycling in a FeOOH‐containing electrolyte. This process simultaneously induces Ni oxidation and Fe incorporation, forming an integrated, porous (Fe, Ni)OOH layer with high conductivity and durability.

Tensile‐strained bismuth nanosheets (TS‐BiNs) achieve a formate Faradaic efficiency of 92% at −1000 mA cm−2 and enable stable production of pure formic acid (HCOOH) in a solid‐state electrolyte reactor. Theoretical calculations reveal that the introduced strain lowers the energy barrier for *OCHO intermediate formation, fundamentally enhancing the ...

This research demonstrates that incorporating 10 wt.% NASICON‐type Na3Zr2Si2PO12 into Na3SbS4 sulfide electrolytes mitigates interfacial instability and structural defects. The resulting composite enhances ionic conductivity to 3.97 * 10−4 S cm−1 and reduces activation energy.
