First-principles-based prediction of yield strength in the RhIrPdPtNiCu high-entropy alloy [PDF]
High-entropy alloys are random alloys with five or more components, often near equi-composition, that often exhibit excellent mechanical properties. Guiding the design of new materials across the wide composition space requires an ability to compute ...

A Knowledge‐Based Approach for Understanding and Managing Additive Manufacturing Data
Additive manufacturing processes generate a large amount of data. Effectively managing, understanding, and retrieving information from this data remains a major challenge. Therefore, we propose an ontology‐based approach to integrate heterogeneous data, enable semantic queries, and support decision‐making.

Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.

Scaling relations on high-entropy alloy catalyst surfaces
Scaling and Brønsted-Evans- Polanyi (BEP) relations have proven immensely powerful in catalysis theory. The relations provide an understanding of the Sabatier principle in a quantitative fashion, such that we can calculate the adsorption energy that most
