The image shows a schematic form a nanobody‐conjugated theranostic prodrug (NBD) platform targeting tumor‐associated αvβ3 integrin. The NBD system integrates selective nanobody‐mediated tumor recognition, glutathione‐responsive disulfide cleavage for doxorubicin release, and aza‐BODIPY‐based near‐infrared fluorescence for real‐time imaging.

Ratiometric Mycotoxin Detection in Living Plants With Dual‐Emissive Nanosensors
A minimally invasive microneedle patch integrates carbon dot‐embedded metal–organic frameworks as nanosensors to detect a key fungal toxin in living plants. The nanosensor produces a ratiometric fluorescence signal that enables early, non‐destructive diagnosis of fungal infection before visible symptoms, offering a new biomaterials‐based strategy for ...

The Occurrence of Mycotoxins in Beers from Retail Shops
In 2016, contents of mycotoxin deoxynivalenol, its metabolite deoxynivalenol-3-β-D-glucopyranoside and ochratoxin A, in beers from Czech, Polish and Slovak retail shops were studied. Totally, 30 beer samples were analyzed.

Concept of ecologically acceptable chromatographic methods: Case study on the separation of dronedarone hydrochloride and its degradation products [PDF]
Recently, concern about the environmental impact of drug analysis methods has increased significantly. Reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC), the predominant technique in drug analysis, relies heavily on organic solvents such as

Light Switchable Ionic Conductivity of Arylazopyrazole Modified Polysiloxanes
We present a polysiloxane functionalized with a novel arylazopyrazole dye that undergoes reversible photoisomerization. Upon lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide addition and UV irradiation, the polymer exhibits a shift in tan(d) toward higher frequencies and enhanced ionic conductivity.

This study presents a new biodegradable coating for titanium implants using a natural antimicrobial peptide, caerin 1.9. Applied via solvent casting, the coating offers sustained antibacterial protection and promotes healing. Tested on 3D‐printed porous titanium scaffolds, it effectively prevented infection—including against resistant bacteria—while ...

Analysis of Corticoids in Adrenal Glands by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
The HPLC system was used to separate and measure 10 kinds of corticoids in adrenal tissues. Calibration curves were drawn as straight lines that ranged from 1.25 to 20ng, or 1.25 to 200ng by peak area calculated with the chromatointegrator. The samples for the assay were extracted from homogenized tissues and treated with methanol to remove non ...
