Early-Stage Fault Diagnosis for Batteries Based on Expansion Force Prediction
With the continuous expansion of the electric vehicle market, lithium-ion batteries have also been rapidly developed, but this has brought about concerns over the safety of lithium-ion batteries.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Multi-Objective Optimal Design of 200 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Based on NSGA-II
Interior permanent magnet synchronous motors (IPMSMs) are widely applied as drive motors in electric vehicles because they have the advantages of high power density, high efficiency, and excellent dynamic performance.

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Morphodynamics of supercritical high-density turbidity currents [PDF]
Seafloor and outcrop observations combined with numerical and physical experiments show that turbidity currents are likely 1) to be in a supercritical flow state and 2) to carry high sediment concentrations (being of high-density). The thesis starts with

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

Review of Conductive Reciprocating Liquid Metal Magnetohydrodynamic Generators
Reciprocating liquid metal magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) power generation is a new MHD power generation method in which the working fluid is a single-phase liquid metal with a low melting point and high conductivity.
