High Precision Quantitative Angiography

IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, 1987
Statistical considerations on the precision in the determination of blood vessel dimensions from digitized cine angiographic images are described. The resolution requirements related to "point measurements" and segmental diameter curve evaluations are discussed.

High speed and high precision parallel mechanism

Proceedings of the 1997 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robot and Systems. Innovative Robotics for Real-World Applications. IROS '97, 2002
We have established a research collaboration project to develop a precise and high-speed arm applied to assembly process in electrical product and machine industries, supported by the International Robots and Factory Automation Foundation (IROFA). The paper addresses the background of the development, the required specification for the robot arm, and ...

High-Precision Hand Interface

2006
Virtual reality techniques have been introduced to propose the intuitive interface in virtual entertainment environments. We introduce the intuitive and natural interaction interface supporting the high-precision hand operations. In this paper, we describe the novel sensing mechanism of finger tracking with fast refresh rate and high resolution.

High Precision, High Performance FPGA Adders

2019 IEEE 27th Annual International Symposium on Field-Programmable Custom Computing Machines (FCCM), 2019
FPGAs are now being commonly used in the datacenter as smart Network Interface Cards (NICs), with cryptography as one of the strategic application areas. Public key cryptography algorithms in particular require arithmetic with thousands of bits of precision.

A High Precision Resolver-to-DC Converter

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2005
A newly developed resolver converter, providing a pseudolinear voltage proportional to the shaft angle, is presented. This converter is based on a new concept involving the absolute values of the demodulated sine and cosine resolver signals together with a dedicated linearization technique.

High-Precision X-Ray Polarimetry

Physical Review Letters, 2013
The polarization purity of 6.457- and 12.914-keV x rays has been improved to the level of 2.4×10(-10) and 5.7×10(-10). The polarizers are channel-cut silicon crystals using six 90° reflections. Their performance and possible applications are demonstrated in the measurement of the optical activity of a sucrose solution.

High precision titrimetry

Analytica Chimica Acta, 1959
Abstract A technique of arbitrary standard weight titrimetric analysis has been proposed for realising the ultimate degree of mechanical precision of which titrimetric processes are capable, and has been applied to reactions and methods of end-point location which are particularly favourable.
