High precision extraction of grammatical relations [PDF]
A parsing system returning analyses in the form of sets of grammatical relations can obtain high precision if it hypothesises a particular relation only when it is certain that the relation is correct. We operationalise this technique---in a statistical parser using a manually-developed wide-coverage grammar of English---by only returning relations ...

ABSTRACT Background Embryonal tumors comprise the majority of malignant central nervous system (CNS) neoplasms diagnosed in children under 3 years of age. Compared with their counterparts in older children, these tumors exhibit distinct molecular biology and a more aggressive clinical phenotype, while their management is complicated by the heightened ...

A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications in Uremic Toxins From 1991 to 2024
ABSTRACT Background Uremic toxins are a growing area of research in nephrology, with significant implications in the progression and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the management of end‐stage kidney disease (ESKD). This bibliometric analysis aims to evaluate the global research trends, key contributors, and the impact of publications in ...

High‐Precision Continuation of Periodic Orbits [PDF]
Obtaining periodic orbits of dynamical systems is the main source of information about how the orbits, in general, are organized. In this paper, we extend classical continuation algorithms in order to be able to obtain families of periodic orbits with high‐precision. These periodic orbits can be corrected to get them with arbitrary precision.

PalQuant: Accelerating High-Precision Networks on Low-Precision Accelerators
Recently low-precision deep learning accelerators (DLAs) have become popular due to their advantages in chip area and energy consumption, yet the low-precision quantized models on these DLAs bring in severe accuracy degradation. One way to achieve both high accuracy and efficient inference is to deploy high-precision neural networks on low-precision ...

ABSTRACT Background Maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients frequently suffer from frailty, characterized by reduced physical function and poor prognosis. Myokines, such as myonectin, secreted by muscle, are emerging regulators of systemic health. This study investigated the relationship between serum myonectin, adipokines (adiponectin, omentin), and ...

ABSTRACT Background Chronic micro‐inflammation in patients with end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) is a significant driver of cardiovascular complications and diminished quality of life. While standard hemodialysis (SHD) effectively manages small‐molecule clearance, its ability to remove medium‐to‐large uremic toxins—the primary catalysts of systemic ...
