High-pressure liquid chromatographic analysis of novobiocin
Journal of Chromatography A, 1974A high-pressure liquid chromatographic method for the analysis of novobiocin is described. The method uses a 1 -m-long Zipax HCP column with a mobile phase of 15% methanol in 0.02 M phosphate buffer, pH 7.0, at a flow-rate of 0.85 ml/min (68 atm).

The viscosity of liquids at high pressures
Australian Journal of Chemistry, 1981An equation is presented which represents the variation of viscosity of a liquid with pressure in terms of the compressibility (ßT), thermal expansion (a) and molar volume (V) of the liquid (?In ?/?P)T = ßT+(Va/2.45R) The derivation of the equation from an equation developed by Eyring and coworkers is given and the ...

Thimerosal Determination by High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography
Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1978A sensitive and useful high-pressure liquid chromatographic method for the determination of intact thimerosal was developed. This method is extremely fast and reliable, and its inherent specificity makes it a breakthrough over other common wet chemical methods.

Analysis of leukotrienes by high-pressure liquid chromatography
Analytical Biochemistry, 1981Abstract A reversed-phase high-pressure liquid chromatographic procedure has been developed to separate and quantitate leukotrienes. This procedure is based on the ultraviolet absorption of the conjugated triene moiety of these compounds and is sensitive to the nanogram level.

High-pressure liquid chromatography of steroidal alkaloids
Journal of Chromatography A, 1976High-pressure liquid chromatography was used to separate the following steroidal alkaloids: tomatidine, solanidine, solasodine, rubijervine, veratramine and jervine. The method was used to prepare crystalline solanidine from a crude mixture of aglycones obtained from Solanum chacoense, and to separate radioactive solanidine from extracts of potato ...

Calculation of Vapor–Liquid–Liquid Equilibria at Atmospheric and High Pressures
Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, 2014Numerical values of the NRTL equation parameters for calculation of the vapor–liquid–liquid equilibria (VLLE) at atmospheric pressures for 27 ternary mixtures are presented. These values were fitted to the experimental VLLE and vapor–liquid equilibrium (VLE) data to describe simultaneously, as accurately as possible, VLE and liquid–liquid equilibria ...
