High harmonic generation at high repetition rates

CLEO/Europe. 2005 Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics Europe, 2005., 2006
We demonstrate high order harmonic generation directly from a 110 MHz femtosecond oscillator using a build-up cavity. This is an important step towards high precision spectroscopy and high power laser sources in the XUV.

High repetition rate CH4 laser

International Journal of Infrared and Millimeter Waves, 1982
A 16-microm CF(4) laser oscillator has operated at 1 kHz in a cooled static cell. Pump energies required from the lowpressure, Q-switched, cw-discharge CO(2) laser were as low as 60 microJ. The laser cavity was a multiple-pass off-axispath two-mirror resonator in a ring configuration. CF(4) laser power at 615 cm(-1) and a 1-kHz repetition rate exceeded

High field, high repetition rate kicker

Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section A: Accelerators, Spectrometers, Detectors and Associated Equipment, 2001
Abstract New kicker magnet systems and their related technologies are being developed and tested at KEK. The kickers are to be used both for the injection and for the fast extraction of two rings, the 50 GeV proton synchrotron in the ‘Joint Project’ of JAERI–KEK and the PRISM/FFAG ring for the muon beam.

Pseudospark switches for high repetition rates and high current applications

Proceedings of the IEEE, 1992
In this paper the state of the art of pseudospark switch development is reported. In addition to the replacement of thyratrons for high power applications in TE gas discharge lasers, pseudospark switches have been tested at high repetition rates up to 2 kHz.

Phosphor thermometry at high repetition rates

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2013
Phosphor thermometry is a semi-invasive surface temperature measurement technique utilizing the luminescence properties of thermographic phosphors. Typically these ceramic materials are coated onto the object of interest and are excited by a short UV laser pulse.

Bipolar high-repetition-rate high-voltage nanosecond pulser

Review of Scientific Instruments, 2008
The pulser designed is mainly used for producing corona plasma in waste water treatment system. Also its application in study of dielectric electrical properties will be discussed. The pulser consists of a variable dc power source for high-voltage supply, two graded capacitors for energy storage, and the rotating spark gap switch.

High repetition rate excimer laser

SPIE Proceedings, 2006
For many years, excimer laser are well established in industry as reliable UV light sources. For each application the beam characteristics have to fulfil different requirements and demands, in terms of technology and cost efficiency. One of the biggest advantages of the excimer laser is that it generates light at DUV-wavelengths and can produce high ...

High Repetition Rate High Power Excimer Lasers

SPIE Proceedings, 1989
We report on the development of high repetition rate, high average power excimer laser systems with projected repetition rates of several kHz and multi kilowatt outputs. An optimized system concept has been derived by theoretically and experimentally comparing the various system options.

High repetition rate intracavity optical parametric oscillator

Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics-Europe, 1998
Optical parametric oscillators (OPO) are of particular interest to produce tunable coherent radiations, especially in the near infrared where no efficient solid state lasers are available. Usually, the OPO and the pump laser are separate oscillators (extracavity configuration).

Power scaling of a high-repetition-rate enhancement cavity

Optics Letters, 2010
A passive optical resonator is used to enhance the power of a pulsed 78 MHz repetition rate Yb laser providing 200 fs pulses. We find limitations relating to the achievable time-averaged and peak power, which we distinguish by varying the duration of the input pulses.
