High-Speed Electrochemical Imaging [PDF]
The design, development, and application of high-speed scanning electrochemical probe microscopy is reported. The approach allows the acquisition of a series of high-resolution images (typically 1000 pixels μm(-2)) at rates approaching 4 seconds per frame, while collecting up to 8000 image pixels per second, about 1000 times faster than typical imaging

High-speed high-security signatures [PDF]
This paper shows that a $390 mass-market quad-core 2.4GHz Intel Westmere (Xeon E5620) CPU can create 108000 signatures per second and verify 71000 signatures per second on an elliptic curve at a 2128 security level. Public keys are 32 bytes, and signatures are 64 bytes.

Chatter Control by Spindle Speed Variation in High-Speed Milling [PDF]
High-speed milling operations are often limited by regenerative vibrations. The aim of this paper is to analyze the effect of spindle speed variation on machine tool chatter in high-speed milling. The stability analysis of triangular and sinusoidal shape

Status of research on non-conventional technology assisted single-point diamond turning
With the increasing use of difficult-to-machine materials in aerospace applications, machining requirements are becoming ever more rigorous. However, traditional single-point diamond turning (SPDT) can cause surface damage and tool wear.
