Novel high-efficiency step-up converter

IEE Proceedings - Electric Power Applications, 2004
As a result of the equivalent series resistor of the boost inductor, conventional boost converters are not able to provide high voltage gain. A high-efficiency high step-up converter is proposed, with low voltage stress on power switch, power diodes and output capacitors.

Multiphase Interleaved High Step-Up Converters

2019 IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), 2019
This paper proposes a family of multiphase interleaved high step-up converters. The multiphase interleaving structure at the input side reduces the input current ripple and increases the power level. The diode-capacitor voltage multiplier stages guarantee a high step-up voltage gain.

A high step up boost converter

2018 International Conference on Power, Signals, Control and Computation (EPSCICON), 2018
Based on the addition of conventional boost converter, a new non-isolated step up converter is proposed. It is mainly used in high voltage application where a high conversion is required. The main feature is the possibility of modularity of the structure. The control and implementation is simple. Also the balance across the capacitor is natural.

A novel high step-up converter

2013 IEEE 10th International Conference on Power Electronics and Drive Systems (PEDS), 2013
A high step-up converter is presented herein, which is constructed mainly by stacking bootstrap capacitors combined with inductor-coupled boost converter with active voltage clamp. Above all, this converter can be implemented based on low turns ratio with the relatively small number of components used.

High-efficiency, high step-up DC-DC converters

IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2003
Many applications call for high step-up DC-DC converters that do not require isolation. Some DC-DC converters can provide high step-up voltage gain, but with the penalty of either an extreme duty ratio or a large amount of circulating energy. DC-DC converters with coupled inductors can provide high voltage gain, but their efficiency is degraded by the ...

A New High Step-Up Interleaved LLC Converter

2021 12th Power Electronics, Drive Systems, and Technologies Conference (PEDSTC), 2021
In this study, a new LLC resonant converter for high-voltage high-power applications is introduced. The introduced power converter is a two-phase interleaved full-bridge based that uses a transformer with secondary and tertiary windings to obtain higher output voltage. Zero voltage switching (ZVS) at MOSFETs turn on and zero current switching (ZCS) for

Step-Up Converter with High Order Selectivity

2019 IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), 2019
A new DC–DC boost converter with a positive output voltage that can be applied in applications requiring a wide range of voltage gain is proposed. Using a novel switch network, the proposed converter can achieve a high order of boost gain under low current stress while maintaining high efficiency. The operation of the proposed topology is analyzed, and
