A new high step‐up DC power supply with modular switched capacitor cells

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, 2023
In this paper, a novel high step‐up direct current (DC)‐DC converter, using switched‐capacitor (SC) cells, is proposed. Upon turning a set of switches in this converter on/off, the capacitors are connected to each other in a circuit configuration, and ...

Single‐switch coupled‐inductors‐based high step‐up converter with reduced voltage stress

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, 2023
This paper proposes a non‐isolated DC‐DC high step‐up converter. To achieve a high voltage conversion ratio and overcome the problems related to near unity duty‐cycle of the conventional boost converter in high step‐up applications, coupled‐inductors ...

An Interleaved Quadratic High Step-Up DC-DC Converter With Coupled Inductor

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Power Electronics, 2021
A new high step-up DC-DC converter for renewable energy applications is proposed in this paper. Employing an interleaved quadratic structure, two two-winding coupled inductors (CIs), and voltage multiplier cells (VMCs), the proposed converter can provide

Coupled‐inductor‐based high step‐up DC–DC converter [PDF]

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, 2019
A novel high step‐up DC–DC converter with coupled inductors has been proposed. The proposed topology includes two coupled inductors, four capacitors, four diodes, and two metal–oxide–semiconductor field‐effect transistors. Two coupled inductors charge in parallel when the switches are on and discharge in series when switches are off.

High step‐up high step‐down bidirectional DC/DC converter

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, 2017
In this study, a new high step‐up high step‐down bidirectional dc–dc converter is proposed. In the proposed converter, the voltage conversion ratio is increased by using two coupled inductors and switched capacitor circuit in both boost and buck operations.

High step-up boost converter with passive lossless clamp circuit for non-isolated high step-up applications

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, 2011
Non-isolated high step-up DC-DC converters are required widely in the industrial applications. Many of these conventional DC-DC converters have the disadvantages of operating at high duty-cycle, high switch voltage stress and high diode peak current.

Bidirectional High-Efficiency Nonisolated Step-Up Battery Regulator

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 2011
The design and results of a high-efficiency high-power (5 kW) nonisolated bidirectional dc-dc converter is presented. High stability due to minimum phase behavior is an additional benefit of the topology. The converter is a new boost with output filter where input and output inductors are coupled.

High‐step‐up enhanced super‐lift converter

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, 2020
This study proposes a new high step‐up DC–DC converter based on a novel super‐lift structure and coupled inductor. The energy stored in the leakage inductance of the coupled inductor is recovered to the converter output, which leads to a snubber‐less operation and consequently a fewer‐component, lower‐cost and more‐efficient converter.
