Efficiency improvement and inrush current reduction in a non-isolated DC-DC converter [PDF]
DC–DC boost converters are unable to provide high step-up voltage gains due to the effect of power switches, rectifier diodes, and the equivalent series resistance of inductors and capacitors.

ABSTRACT Introduction Pre‐dilution online hemodiafiltration (Pre‐HDF) is predominantly used in Japan, whereas post‐dilution online HDF (Post‐HDF) is more common in Europe. An asymmetric cellulose triacetate (ATA) membrane may improve biocompatibility.

A High Step-up Integrated Coupled Inductor-Capacitor DC-DC Converter
A high step-up integrated coupled inductor-capacitor DC-DC converter for renewable energy applications has been proposed in this paper. Because of relative low output voltage of renewable energy systems, a high step-up converter is necessary.

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Reconfigurable high step‐up DC to DC converter for microgrid applications
Here, a high gain DC–DC converter which is based on switched capacitor (SC) and switched LCL (SLCL) cells is presented. The diode employed in the classical passive switched inductor (SI) cell is replaced by a capacitor in the proposed SLCL cell to ...
