Development of High Temperature Oxidation Resistant Titanium Alloy Arconic-THORTM [PDF]
The aeroengine and airframe applications of titanium alloys are often limited by their insufficient oxidation resistance to the aggressive environment at higher temperatures. A high temperature oxidation resistant titanium alloy (Arconic-THORTM) has been

Oxidation of Al-Co Alloys at High Temperatures [PDF]
In this work, the high temperature oxidation behavior of Al71Co29 and Al76Co24 alloys (concentration in at.%) is presented. The alloys were prepared by controlled arc-melting of Co and Al granules in high purity argon. The as-solidified alloys were found to consist of several different phases, including structurally complex m-Al13Co4 and Z-Al3Co phases.

CO2 as an Oxidant for High-Temperature Reactions [PDF]
This paper presents a review on the developments in catalyst technology for the reactions utilizing CO2 for high temperature applications. These include dehydrogenation of alkanes to olefins, the dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene to styrene and finally CO2 reforming of hydrocarbon feedstock (i.e. methane) and alcohols.

HIGH-TEMPERATURE OXIDATION OF CHROME-NICKEL ALLOY
The investigations in this paper deal with the Cr-Ni alloy. The material has been recently proposed as a potential ATF concept, primarily due to its behaviour under high-temperature oxidation.
