Zero-voltage switching of high-gain boost converter
2016 IEEE 1st International Conference on Power Electronics, Intelligent Control and Energy Systems (ICPEICES), 2016A zero-voltage transition network is proposed for a high-gain boost converter. The high-gain is realized by an interleaved boost converter with charge-pump on the load side. An auxiliary zero-voltage transition network; comprising a switch; an inductor and three diodes; is proposed to realize zero voltage turn-ON of the main switches.

A high gain quadruple flyboost converter for high voltage applications
2016 IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference and Expo, Asia-Pacific (ITEC Asia-Pacific), 2016This paper demonstrates an alternative of flyboost converter to achieve a high-voltage high power direct current power supply with a gain more than 10. The proposed flyboost converter in this paper composed with a conventional boost converter and quadruple flyback converter, which generated energy from a boost inductor during an off time period.

Low-voltage high-gain resonant-cavity avalanche photodiode
IEEE Photonics Technology Letters, 1991For p-i-n photodiodes and avalanche photodiodes (APDs) in the low-gain regime, there is a performance tradeoff between the transit-time contribution to the bandwidth and the quantum efficiency. A new photodetector structure is demonstrated that alleviates limitations imposed by this tradeoff.

Novel Three-Port Converter With High-Voltage Gain

This converter uses only three switches to achieve the power flow control. Two input sources share only one inductor. Thus, the volume can be reduced.
