q‐Deformed Glueball Spectrum in AdS/QCD Correspondence
This work presents the application of the q‐algebra in the glueball spectrum. This algebra is implemented through Jackson’s derivatives in a Schrödinger‐like equation resulting from the gravity fluctuations around the braneworld scenario in five dimensions.

Black hole solutions in string theory
Supersymmetric solutions of supergravity have been of particular importance in the advances of string theory. This article reviews the current status of black hole solutions in higher-dimensional supergravity theories.

We consider a four dimensional generalized Wess-Zumino model formulated in terms of an arbitrary Kähler potential KΦΦ¯ $$ \mathcal{K}\left(\varPhi, \overline{\varPhi}\right) $$ and an arbitrary chiral superpotential WΦ $$ \mathcal{W}\left(\varPhi \right)

Gravitons and gauge fields in 5d Chern-Simons supergravity
Despite the nice geometrical properties of higher dimensional Chern-Simons (CS) supergravity theories these actions suffer from one major drawback, namely, their connection with the real world.

M-theoretic Lichnerowicz formula and supersymmetry
A suitable generalisation of the Lichnerowicz formula can relate the squares of supersymmetric operators to the effective action, the Bianchi identities for fluxes, and some equations of motion.

Rotating Einstein-Maxwell black holes in odd dimensions
To construct higher-dimensional counterparts of the Kerr-Newman black holes, we consider Einstein’s equations sourced by a vector field and a negative cosmological constant.

Stable de Sitter vacua in N=2, D=5 supergravity
We find 5D gauged supergravity theories exhibiting stable de Sitter vacua. These are the first examples of stable de Sitter vacua in higher-dimensional (D>4) supergravity.
