Soft theorems in matrix theory
We show that the Banks-Fischler-Shenker-Susskind matrix model for M-theory obeys the leading and subleading soft theorems expected from eleven-dimensional supergravity. The subleading soft theorem implies the amplitude is Lorentz symmetric.

Non-linear Kaluza-Klein theory for dual fields
We present non-linear uplift ansaetze for all the bosonic degrees of freedom and dual fields in the 7-sphere reduction of D=11 supergravity to maximal SO(8) gauged supergravity and test them for the SO$(7)^{\pm}$ invariant solutions.

Integrability in gravity from Chern-Simons theory
This paper presents a new perspective on integrability in theories of gravity. We show how the stationary, axisymmetric sector of General Relativity can be described by the boundary dynamics of a four-dimensional Chern-Simons theory.

Comments on the four-dimensional effective theory for warped compactification
We derive four-dimensional effective theories for warped compactification of the ten-dimensional IIB supergravity and the eleven-dimensional Horava-Witten model.

Smooth extremal horizons are the exception, not the rule
We show that the general charged, rotating black hole in five-dimensional Einstein-Maxwell theory has a singular extremal limit. Only the known analytic solutions with exactly zero charge or zero angular momenta have smooth extremal horizons.
