Higher order asymptotics of Toeplitz determinants with symbols in weighted Wiener algebras [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We extend a result of Böttcher and Silbermann on higher order asymptotics of determinants of block Toeplitz matrices with symbols in Wiener algebras with power weights to the case of Wiener algebras with general weights satisfying natural ...

Reducible gauge symmetry versus unfree gauge symmetry in Hamiltonian formalism

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2021
The unfree gauge symmetry implies that gauge variation of the action functional vanishes provided for the gauge parameters are restricted by the differential equations.

Thermalon mediated AdS to dS phase transitions in Einstein–Gauss–Bonnet-massive gravity

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
In this work, gravitational phase transition emerging from anti de-Sitter (AdS) to de-Sitter (dS) vacua in Einstein–Gauss–Bonnet-massive gravity (EGBMG) is considered.

Higher Order Airy and Painlevé Asymptotics for the mKdV Hierarchy

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis, 2022
In this paper, we consider a Cauchy problem for the modified Korteweg--de Vries hierarchy on the real line with decaying initial data. Using the Riemann--Hilbert formulation and the nonlinear steepest descent method, we derive a uniform asymptotic expansion to all orders in powers of $t^{-1/(2n+1)}$ with smooth coefficients of the variable $(-1)^{n+1}x(

Higher-Spin Currents, Operator Mixing and UV Asymptotics in Large-N QCD-like Theories

open access: yesUniverse, 2023
We extend to operator mixing—specifically, to higher-spin twist-2 operators—the asymptotic theorem on the ultraviolet asymptotics of the spectral representation of 2-point correlators of multiplicatively renormalizable operators in large-N confining QCD ...

Horndeski genesis: consistency of classical theory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
Genesis within the Horndeski theory is one of possible scenarios for the start of the Universe. In this model, the absence of instabilities is obtained at the expense of the property that coefficients, serving as effective Planck masses, vanish in the ...

Recursion relation for instanton counting for SU(2) N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 SYM in NS limit of Ω background

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
In this paper we investigate different ways of deriving the A-cycle period as a series in instanton counting parameter q for N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 SYM with up to four antifundamental hypermultiplets in NS limit of Ω background.

Asymptotics of Higher Order Entropies [PDF]

open access: yesESAIM: Proceedings, 2007
Higher order entropies are kinetic entropy estimators for fluid models. These quantities are quadratic in the velocity v and temperature T derivatives and have temperature dependent coefficients. We investigate asymptotic expansions of higher order entropies for incompressible flows in terms of the Knudsen and Mach numbers.

Generalized Nonanalytic Expansions, PT-Symmetry and Large-Order Formulas for Odd Anharmonic Oscillators

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2009
The concept of a generalized nonanalytic expansion which involves nonanalytic combinations of exponentials, logarithms and powers of a coupling is introduced and its use illustrated in various areas of physics.

Matching next-to-leading-order and high-energy-resummed calculations of heavy-quarkonium-hadroproduction cross sections

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
The energy dependence of the total hadroproduction cross section of pseudoscalar quarkonia is computed via matching Next-to-Leading Order (NLO) Collinear-Factorisation (CF) results with resummed higher-order corrections, proportional to α s n ln n − 1 $$
