Device Stochasticity Directly Implements Bayesian Sampling in Spiking Neurons
Brain‐inspired stochastic spiking turns device noise into Bayesian uncertainty for robust, low‐power neuromorphic computing. ABSTRACT Device stochasticity is considered a non‐ideality in neuromorphic hardware, although stochastic neural activity supports probabilistic computation in biological systems.

In this work, we investigate the power-expansion/OPE in super-renormalizable QFTs. In comparison to “marginal” short distance asymptotics, the power-expansion in super-renormalizable theory has a higher level of correlation with the coupling constant ...

Escape rates for special flows and their higher order asymptotics
In this paper escape rates and local escape rates for special flows are studied. In a general context the first result is that the escape rate depends monotonically on the ceiling function and fulfils certain scaling, invariance and continuity properties.

Low‐Power Control Of Resistance Switching Transitions in First‐Order Memristors
Joule losses are a serious concern in modern integrated circuit design. In this regard, minimizing the energy necessary for programming memristors should be handled with care. This manuscript presents an optimal control framework, allowing to derive energy‐efficient programming voltage protocols for resistance switching devices. Following this approach,

When is a Stokes line not a Stokes line?
During the course of a Stokes phenomenon, an asymptotic expansion can change its form as a further series, prefactored by an exponentially small term and a Stokes multiplier, appears in the representation.

Nonlinear Dynamics and Invariants of Motion in ReRAM Cells
A second‐order cell, hosting one capacitor and two back‐to‐back ReRAMs, admits Invariants of Motion: its states lie on one‐dimensional manifolds at all times. The cell shows quiescent monostability or bistability, depending on the manifold index. At equilibrium, the capacitor voltage vanishes.

Asymptotic properties of solutions of higher order difference equations [PDF]
Summary: Asymptotic properties of solutions of the difference equation \( \Delta ^m x_n=a_n\varphi (x_{\tau _1(n)},\dots ,x_{\tau _k(n)})+b_n \) are studied. Conditions under which every (every bounded) solution of the equation \(\Delta ^{m}y_{n}=b_{n}\) is asymptotically equivalent to some solution of the above equation are obtained.

This work proposes and validates a method for measuring nitrate concentration with printed, solid‐state ion‐selective electrodes that does not require a stable reference electrode. The approach uses brief, localized heating pulses to generate a concentration‐dependent voltage response that is drift‐resilient and log‐linear from 0.1 to 100 mm, while ...

Counter‐halide engineering of fluorobenzylammonium surface passivators reveals bromide as the optimal partner for wide‐bandgap perovskites. FBz–Br effectively stabilizes halide‐vacancy‐related defects and undercoordinated Pb sites, suppresses non‐radiative recombination, and enhances surface hydrophobicity and thermal stability.
