A Systematic Comparison of Alpha‐Synuclein Seed Amplification Assays for Increasing Reproducibility
ABSTRACT Seed amplification assays (SAAs) enable ultrasensitive detection of misfolded α‐synuclein across biofluids and tissues. Yet, heterogeneity in protocols limits cross‐study comparability and clinical translation. Here, we review α‐synuclein SAA methods and their performance across various biological matrices.

Hermitean Téodorescu Transform Decomposition of Continuous Matrix Functions on Fractal Hypersurfaces
We consider Hölder continuous circulant (2×2) matrix functions G21 defined on the fractal boundary Γ of a domain Ω in ℝ2n. The main goal is to study under which conditions such a function G21 can be decomposed as G21=G21+&

ABSTRACT Background Collaterals are crucial factors that influence the infarct growth rate (IGR). We aimed to determine whether a comprehensive multimodal collateral score (MCS), incorporating collateral assessment at the arterial, tissue, and venous levels, is associated with functional independence and provides incremental prognostic value over ...

Objective Relapsing polychondritis (RP) is a rare disease defined by recurrent cartilaginous inflammation. Anti–collagen II (Col2) antibodies have been proposed as a diagnostic biomarker for RP, but their performance characteristics are not well defined.

Objective We aimed to validate the Pediatric Arthritis Ultrasound Scoring System (PAUSS) for upper extremity joints in children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Methods Children with JIA were evaluated for elbow, wrist, or finger arthritis by clinical examination (CE) and musculoskeletal ultrasound (MSUS) with images scored according to the ...

Retractions in Rheumatology: Trends, Causes, and Implications for Research Integrity
Objective We aimed to describe the trends and main reasons for study retraction in rheumatology literature. Methods We reviewed the Retraction Watch database to identify retracted articles in rheumatology. We recorded the main study characteristics, authors’ countries, reasons for retraction, time from publication to retraction, and trends over time ...

Upper and lower solution method for a higher order ϕ-Laplacian BVPs on an infinite interval
Boundary value problems (BVPs) involving higher-order ϕ-Laplacian equations on an infinite interval are explored in this study. These problems, characterized by their nonlinear ϕ-Laplacian operators, introduce complexity and richness to the realm of ...

Objective The American College of Rheumatology recommends HLA‐B*58:01 allele testing before the initiation of allopurinol, specifically among Asian and African American/Black patients, due to their increased risk for severe hypersensitivity reactions. However, testing rates remain low at many health care facilities.

Higher order boundary value problems at resonance on an unbounded interval
The aim of this paper is the solvability of a class of higher order differential equations with initial conditions and an integral boundary condition on the half line.
