Chirality and Organization of Adsorbates Modify Surface Phonon Dynamics
Chirality and molecular organization are shown to influence surface phonon dynamics in gold films. Time‐resolved Joule heating measurements reveal that ordered homochiral monolayers increase the Debye temperature and disordered layers reduce it, while ordered racemic controls have no effect.

Exponentiation of soft quark effects from the replica trick
In this paper, we show that multiple maximally soft (anti-)quark and gluon emissions exponentiate at the level of either the amplitude or cross-section.

Hadronic productions of a Higgs boson in association with two jets at next-to-leading order [PDF]
We present the calculation of hadronic production of a Higgs boson in association with two jets at next-to-leading order in perturbation theory. We consider amplitudes in an effective theory in which the Higgs couples to gluons in the limit of a large ...

This paper presents a digital microfluidics‐based technique for transferring and reconfiguring soft nanomembranes. Laser‐machined nanothin membranes are picked up, transported, and aligned via tailored surface tension and the actuation of water droplets, enabling the development of flexible electronics, the integration of functional materials on 3D ...

Orbital Geometry‐Governed Response of Pressure‐Tunable Quantum Defects in hBN
Defects in hBN act as ultrasensitive quantum manometers when the energy of the intradefect optical transitions is modified by lattice compression. The orbital geometry of the electron wave functions governs how electron hopping and Coulomb interactions react uniquely to the reduction of the van der Waals gap and in‐plane compression, leading to robust ...

The colourful antenna subtraction method
We present a general subtraction scheme for NNLO calculations in massless QCD: the colourful antenna subtraction method. It is a reformulation of the antenna subtraction approach designed to address some of the limitations of the traditional framework ...

Titanium Suboxides Responsible for Electronic Anomaly Near Room Temperature in the Ti3C2Tx MXene
Our multi‐technique study reveals that the near‐room‐temperature anomaly in Ti3C2Tx MXene is linked to titanium suboxide nanodomains, including Ti3O5, embedded within the MXene host. Their temperature‐driven transformation provides an alternative explanation to solvent‐ and swelling‐based models and offers new insight into the thermally activated ...

Potassium–sulfur batteries are investigated using UV–vis spectroscopy to track the evolution of potassium polysulfide species at elevated temperature. The study reveals sulfur radical anions as key intermediates and shows how solvent composition and cell design influence polysulfide stability, redox behavior, and cycling performance, providing insights

Threshold resummation of rapidity distributions at fixed partonic rapidity
We derive a general expression for the resummation of rapidity distributions for processes with a colorless final state, such as Drell-Yan or Higgs production, in the limit in which the center-of-mass energy goes on threshold, but with fixed rapidity of ...
