Photoaligned and photopatterned liquid crystal platforms provide programmable control of optical phase, polarization, and spin‐orbit interactions, enabling compact generation of structured light and complex wavefronts. This review highlights how tailored molecular orientations transform simple beams into designed optical fields, opening versatile ...

Black flowers and real forms of higher spin symmetries
Abstract Using Chern-Simons formulation, we investigate higher spin (HS) black holes in AdS3 with soft Heisenberg hair and establish linkage with the real forms of the underlying complexified gauge symmetries taken here as SL(N, ℂ)L × SL(N, ℂ)R. We study the various conserved currents characterizing the HS black flowers (HS-BF) and

On higher spins with a strong Sp(2,R) condition (TOPCITE: 100 citazioni su SPIRES HEP) [PDF]
We report on an analysis of the Vasiliev construction for minimal bosonic higher-spin master fields with oscillators that are vectors of SO(D-1,2) and doublets of Sp(2,R).

Higher spin conformal geometry in three dimensions and prepotentials for higher spin gauge fields [PDF]
: We study systematically the conformal geometry of higher spin bosonic gauge fields in three spacetime dimensions. We recall the definition of the Cotton tensor for higher spins and establish a number of its properties that turn out to be key in solving

Bilinear Fronsdal currents in the AdS4 higher-spin theory
We analyse higher-spin theory with general coupling constant η at the second order, focusing on the gauge non-invariant vertices Υ(ω, ω), Υ(Ω, ω, C) and Υ(ω, C), that are shown to generate nontrivial currents in the Fronsdal equations.

Magnesium‐Based Transient Bioelectronics, Bio‐Optics and Bio‐Scaffolds
This paper reviews the state of the art and recent advances in magnesium‐based thin‐film, foils, and scaffolds for applications in transient bio‐optics, bioelectronics and tissue engineering. The design principles, fabrication methods, material properties, and integration strategies are discussed in detail.

Higher derivative terms and their influence on N=2 supersymmetric systems [PDF]
This thesis is concerned with so-called higher derivative terms which arise in low energy approximations to certain physical models. In particular, the aim is to investigate the role that such terms play in low energy N=2 supersymmetric gauge theories in

Programmable 2D magnetic clusterphenes are realized through a ligand‐mediated cluster‐assembly strategy. Direct linking of magnetic superatomic clusters enhances electron delocalization and symmetry breaking, enabling the concurrent strengthening of magnetic exchange interactions and spin–orbit coupling.

Massive spin 3 and Metric-Affine Gravity
Symmetric Metric-Affine Gravity is a theory of gravity with an independent non-metric connection, and zero torsion. It can be thought of as ordinary metric gravity coupled to a rank-3 tensor Q, symmetric in one pair of indices.
