Aspects of higher spin symmetry in flat space
International audienceWe review some aspects of higher spin symmetry, in (Anti-)de Sitter and flat space–times, aiming at closing the gap between the constantly curved and flat cases. On (Anti-)de Sitter space, non-Abelian higher spin algebras are at the

Toward higher-spin symmetry breaking in the bulk
We present a new vacuum of the bosonic higher-spin gauge theory in $d+1$ dimensions, which has leftover symmetry of the Poincaré algebra in $d$ dimensions.

Aspects of higher-spin symmetry in flat space [PDF]
From the viewpoint of relativistic field theory, general relativity describes the self-interactions of a massless particle of spin two, called graviton.

Kerr Black Holes From Massive Higher-Spin Gauge Symmetry [PDF]
We propose that the dynamics of Kerr black holes is strongly constrained by the principle of gauge symmetry. We initiate the construction of EFTs for Kerr black holes of any integer quantum spin s using Stueckelberg fields, and show that the known three ...

Stringy symmetries and the higher spin square [PDF]
Tensionless string theory on AdS3 x S3 x T4, as captured by a free symmetric product orbifold, has a large set of conserved currents which can be usefully organised in terms of representations of a N=(4,4) supersymmetric higher spin algebra. In this paper we focus on the single particle currents which generate the asymptotic stringy symmetry algebra on

ON THE UNIQUENESS OF HIGHER-SPIN SYMMETRIES IN ADS AND CFT [PDF]
We study the uniqueness of higher-spin algebras which are at the core of higher-spin theories in AdS and of CFTs with exact higher-spin symmetry, i.e. conserved tensors of rank greater than two. The Jacobi identity for the gauge algebra is the simplest consistency test that appears at the quartic order for a gauge theory.

On Correlation Functions as Higher-Spin Invariants [PDF]
(Chern–Simons) vector models exhibit an infinite-dimensional symmetry, the slightly-broken higher-spin symmetry with the unbroken higher-spin symmetry being the first approximation.

COMMENTS ON HIGHER-SPIN SYMMETRIES [PDF]
The unconstrained frame-like formulation of an infinite tower of completely symmetric tensor gauge fields is reviewed and examined in the limit where the cosmological constant goes to zero. By partially fixing the gauge and solving the torsion constraints, the form of the gauge transformations in the unconstrained metric-like formulation are obtained ...
