A Highly Active Immobilized Ribonuclease

Analytical Biochemistry, 2000
adapter (like that available from Sigma) could aid in processing many samples simultaneously. The time required for the whole process, from picking up the colony for lysis to visualization of the amplified product on agarose gel, is only about 4 h, saving time in routine analysis of mycobacteria. We found that this method yields genomic DNA from common

Highly activated, silicone entrapped, lipase

Chemical Communications, 2003
Lipase is more reactive in silicone oil or silicone elastomers than in hydrocarbons, and can be formulated into convenient, active, immobilized enzyme packages.

Highly active, lipase silicone elastomers

Biomaterials, 2005
Lipase Candida rugosa was entrapped in silicone rubber via condensation-cure room temperature vulcanization of silanol-terminated poly(dimethylsiloxane) with tetraethyl orthosilicate as a crosslinker, to give a highly active silicone-enzyme elastomer.

Preparation of highly active enterogastrone

Canadian Journal of Physiology and Pharmacology, 1969
By using a 10% pure preparation of cholecystokinin–pancreozymin (CCK–PZ) a fraction was obtained which was inhibitory for H+ secretion, pepsin secretion, and motor activity in antral and fundic pouches. This material possessed no significant CCK–PZ activity or secretin-like activity.

Highly Active Ethylene Oligomerization Catalysts

Organometallics, 2011
Reaction of RN(H)PBr(Ph)2N(H)R [R = t-Bu, i-Pr, Ph] with two equivalents of n-BuLi followed by reaction with CrCl2(THF)2 afforded the divalent chromium complexes [(t-Bu)NP(Ph)2N(t-Bu)]Cr(µ2-Cl)2Li(THF)2 (1), [(i-Pr)NP(Ph)2N(i-Pr)]Cr(µ2-Cl)2Li(THF)2 (2), and [{[(Ph)NP(Ph)2N(Ph)]Cr}2(µ2-Cl)3][Li(DME)3] (3). The trivalent analogue of 1, {[(t-Bu)NP(Ph)2N(t-

Intermetallic Nanocatalyst for Highly Active Heterogeneous Hydroformylation.

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2021
Hydroformylation is an imperative chemical process traditionally catalyzed by homogeneous catalysts. Designing a heterogeneous catalyst with high activity and selectivity in hydroformylation is challenging but essential to allow the convenient separation

Mn-Doped RuO2 Nanocrystals as Highly Active Electrocatalysts for Enhanced Oxygen Evolution in Acidic Media

, 2020
Currently, RuO2 is a benchmark acidic oxygen evolution reaction (OER) catalyst. Nevertheless, its wide applications are always restricted by slow dynamics and limited durability.

Highly active neurons emerging in vitro

Journal of Neurophysiology, 2021
The overdispersion of neuronal activity levels can often be attributed to very few neurons exhibiting extremely high firing rates, but due to technical difficulty, no studies have examined how these outliers are selected during development and whether they are maintained over time.

Construction of Highly Active Metal-Containing Nanoparticles & FeCo-N4 Composite Sites for Acid Oxygen Reduction Reaction.

Angewandte Chemie, 2020
Metal-containing nanoparticles (M-NPs) in metal/nitrogen-doped carbon (M-N-C) catalysts have been considered hostile to acid oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). Some works have confirmed that M-NPs can synergistically increase ORR activity in alkaline media.

Highly Active Multiple Sclerosis

2021
A 16-year-old girl was evaluated for symptoms of thoracic myelitis with sensory loss below T12, gait difficulty, constipation, and incomplete bladder emptying. On evaluation, she had a flat affect, normal cranial nerve function, and normal motor examination findings. Deep tendon reflexes were symmetric, and plantar responses were flexor.
