Multi‐Dimensional Conductive Nanocomposites for Flexible Electronics

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, Volume 9, Issue 4, July 2026.
Multi‐dimensional conductive nanocomposites integrate 0D, 1D, and 2D nanomaterials through spatial structure regulation and interface engineering, achieving “1 + 1 > 2” synergistic effects. By leveraging 0D filling to reduce contact resistance, 1D bridging to construct continuous conductive paths, and 2D supporting to enhance mechanical stability ...

Balancing tracks and trees: Assessing railroad impact on Brazilian biodiversity

open access: yesPLANTS, PEOPLE, PLANET, Volume 8, Issue 4, Page 1345-1356, July 2026.
The Brazilian West–East Integration Railway (FIOL) aims to boost the national economy by improving commodity transport; however, it crosses three of Brazil's most biodiverse and fragile regions: the Caatinga, Cerrado and Atlantic Forest. Using digitised plant records and land‐use analyses, our study reveals significant vegetation loss within the ...

Analytical Model of Mechanical Responses of Circular Tunnels Considering Rheological Behavior of Surrounding Rock and Functionally Graded Lining

open access: yesApplied Sciences
The rock–lining interaction significantly affects the stability and safety of a tunnel in service. In this study, a mechanical model is proposed to explore the rock–lining interaction under hydrostatic pressure. The model takes into account the alterable

The Effect of Heterospecific Song and Anthropogenic Sound on the Development of Life History Traits in a Field Cricket

open access: yesEthology, Volume 132, Issue 7, Page 466-476, July 2026.
We raised fall field crickets in acoustic environments of silence, their own song, traffic noise, or the song of the recently introduced Japanese burrowing cricket and measured development, size, and adult survival. We found that crickets reared with burrowing cricket song developed more quickly than crickets reared in silence.

Vibration Response Characteristics of the Cross Tunnel Structure

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2016
It is well known that the tunnel structure will lose its function under the long-term repeated function of the vibration effect. A prime example is the Xi’an cross tunnel structure (CTS) of Metro Line 2 and the Yongningmen tunnel, where the vibration ...
