Some considerations on orthogonality, strict separation theorems and applications in Hilbert spaces [PDF]
After presenting some structural notions on Hilbert spaces, which constitute fundamental support for this work, we approach the goals of thechapter.

Combining kernelised autoencoding and centroid prediction for dynamic multi‐objective optimisation
Abstract Evolutionary algorithms face significant challenges when dealing with dynamic multi‐objective optimisation because Pareto optimal solutions and/or Pareto optimal fronts change. The authors propose a unified paradigm, which combines the kernelised autoncoding evolutionary search and the centroid‐based prediction (denoted by KAEP), for solving ...

ABSTRACT This paper proposes a boundary control method for nonlinear distributed parameter systems (DPSs) with limited boundary measurements (BMs), as typically encountered in networked cyber‐physical processes with spatially distributed dynamics such as thermal and biomedical diffusion systems.

Interpolation of Hilbert spaces.
(i) We prove that intermediate Banach spaces A, B with respect to arbitrary Hilbert couples H, K are exact interpolation iff they are exact K-monotonic, i.e. the condition f0∊A and the inequality K(t,g0;K)≤K(t,f0;H), t>0 imply g0∊B and ||g0||B≤||f0||A (K is Peetre's K-functional).

ABSTRACT Diagnosing high‐impedance ground faults (HIGFs) in distribution networks is extremely challenging because high transition resistance significantly reduces electrical signal strength and unpredictable initial fault phase angles coupled with asymmetric voltage disturbances often lead to misclassification.

Abstract Efficiency is a pervasive yet insufficiently challenged managerial principle and an integral part of business school academia. However, while there is compelling evidence that efficiency gains can have severe undesirable social and ecological consequences that reduce overall welfare both in terms of well‐being and natural resources, business ...

Hilbert series of bipartite field theories
We study the algebraic structure of the mesonic moduli spaces of bipartite field theories by computing the Hilbert series. Bipartite field theories form a large family of 4d N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 supersymmetric gauge theories that are defined by ...

Results on soft Hilbert spaces
Molodtsov [6] introduced the notion of soft set which can be considered as a new mathematical approach for vagueness. Das and Samanta [8] first defined the soft vector space and soft norm. Yazar and et al. [9] defined the soft vector space by using the concept of soft point given in [4, 5] and introduced the soft normed spaces in a new point of view ...
