Radiographic Morphometric Measurements of the Donkey’s Distal Hind Limb
Morphometric measurements of the toe serve as a reference for the objective assessment of the presence of a pathological condition and as a guide for the correct trimming of the hooves.

Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Rewiring of hindlimb corticospinal neurons after spinal cord injury [PDF]
Little is known about the functional role of axotomized cortical neurons that survive spinal cord injury. Large thoracic spinal cord injuries in adult rats result in impairments of hindlimb function.

Regional Lymphatic Inclusion in Orthotopic Hindlimb Transplantation: Establishment and Assessment of Feasibility in a Rodent Model. [PDF]
Background The lymphatic system may play an important role in local immunomodulation in vascularized composite allotransplantation (VCA). Currently, there is no standardized VCA model that includes the regional draining lymphatic tissue.
