Orally administered, pH‐responsive Co‐SAN exerts dual functions: in the alkaline intestinal milieu, it scavenges reactive oxygen species (ROS) and suppresses the PI3K/AKT pathway and NETs formation, thus providing radioprotection; whereas in the acidic tumor microenvironment, it generates ROS and alleviates hypoxia, thereby enhancing radiosensitization.

Fibro‐adipogenic progenitors (FAPs) in atrophic muscle undergo YAP1‐driven pathogenic activation, secreting IL‐6 and FGF21 as bone‐catabolic myokines that mediate muscle‐bone crosstalk and promote bone loss. Genetic or pharmacological targeting of this YAP1‐FAP‐myokine axis rescues skeletal deterioration, identifying FAP‐derived myokines as therapeutic

Are there associations between bone turnover and hip geometry in the general population?
Objectives: While impaired bone remodeling contributes to osteoporosis and probably to osteoarthritis, the relations between bone turnover and key hip geometry measures such as center-edge angle (CE), neck-shaft angle (NSA) or alpha angle remain unknown.

A missense single nucleotide polymorphism in the ALDH2 gene, rs671, is associated with hip fracture
Hip fracture is the most severe bone fragility fracture among osteoporotic injuries. Family history is a known risk factor for fracture and now included among criteria for osteoporosis diagnosis and treatment; however, genetic factors underlying family ...
