In our study we propose that the Brindisi amphorae arrived at the Iberian Peninsula during a chronological period from 150 to 50 BC. This could be related in many cases with the presence of Italian civilian and military elites who intervened in the organisation and conquest of the Citerior and Ulterior provinces.
