Activity-Based Probe for Histidine Kinase Signaling [PDF]
Bacterial two-component systems (TCSs) are signaling pathways composed of two proteins: a histidine kinase (HK) and a response regulator (RR). Upon stimulation, the HK autophosphorylates at a conserved histidine.

Peripheral Blood DNA Methylation Changes Precede Lymphoma Diagnosis in Primary Sjögren's Disease
Objective Primary Sjögren's disease (SjD) is a systemic autoimmune disease associated with an increased risk of lymphoma. The molecular mechanisms underlying lymphomagenesis remain poorly understood, and sensitive biomarkers for early identification of patients at high risk of developing lymphoma are lacking.

Enhanced strategies for cuproptosis‐like death in bacterial infection treatment
This review summarizes and examines the molecular mechanisms underlying cuproptosis‐like death. Furthermore, multi‐strategy efficacy enhancement and potential enhancement approaches are analyzed. Abstract Copper, a classical antibacterial metal, has long been of interest and widely used in medical and public health applications.

Functional characterization of AtoS-histidine protein kinase in E-coli [PDF]
Journal URL: http://www.springer.at/amino_acidsAbstractAtoS is the membrane signal-transducing histidine kinase (HK) that together with the response regulator AtoC plays a pivotal role in the transcriptional regulation of atoDAEB operon in Escherichia ...

Ligand-Induced Asymmetry in Histidine Sensor Kinase Complex Regulates Quorum Sensing [PDF]
SummaryBacteria sense their environment using receptors of the histidine sensor kinase family, but how kinase activity is regulated by ligand binding is not well understood.

Dual Regulatory Functions of Classical Zinc Finger Clusters from Myeloid Zinc Finger‐1
The classical zinc finger (ZF) protein MZF1 uses two ZF clusters to achieve metal‐dependent and gene‐specific promoter recognition. The differential redox stability and modular utilization of the two ZF clusters enable MZF1 to regulate cerebrovascular, neuronal, and cancer‐related transcriptional programs.
