Frequency Distribution Histograms for the Rapid Analysis of Data [PDF]

open access: yesPlant Physiology, 1988
The mean and standard error are good representations for the response of a population to an experimental parameter and are frequently used for this purpose. Frequency distribution histograms show, in addition, responses of individuals in the population.

DNA histogram analysis of human hemopoietic cells [PDF]

open access: yesBlood, 1976
The proliferative activity of human neoplasms may be an important determinant for therapeutic management. The advent of automated flow- through systems measuring cellular DNA content by means of fluorescence has considerably facilitated the analysis of cellular kinetics.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.
