THIR: Topological Histopathological Image Retrieval
According to the World Health Organization, breast cancer claimed the lives of approximately 685,000 women in 2020. Early diagnosis and accurate clinical decision making are critical in reducing this global burden. In this study, we propose THIR, a novel Content-Based Medical Image Retrieval (CBMIR) framework that leverages topological data analysis ...

This study develops a dual‐bioinspired hydrogel, MSA@PGel (macrophage membrane‐coated and salvianolic acid B/5‐aminolevulinic acid co‐loaded liposomes embedded in a polydopamine‐based gel), that integrates macrophage membrane‐mediated active targeting and mussel‐inspired wet adhesion for programmed intervention in oral precancerous lesions.

The biomimetic nanoplatform IMNP (ETS1 pDNA/PBAE@ITP‐MM) undergoes targeted disassembly at inflammatory vascular sites to release the ETS1 plasmid (pETS1). This release initiates a cascade of effects that inhibit pathogenic pathways and support immune homeostasis. (Abbreviations: EndMT, endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition; EC, endothelial cell; TC, T

Cancer Detection from Histopathology Images
Histopathological analysis of whole-slide images is one of the most widely used techniques for diagnosis of lung cancers. In this study, a fully automated pipeline was developed to detect cancer from histopathology slides of lung tissue. We obtained 1067 histopathology images of lung adenocarcinoma and 1060 images of squamous cell carcinoma from the ...

This review explores how alternative invertebrate and small‐vertebrate models advance the evaluation of nanomaterials across medicine and environmental science. By bridging cellular and organismal levels, these models enable integrated assessment of toxicity, biodistribution, and therapeutic performance.

An In Situ Embedded B‐MOF Sponge With Shape‐Memory for All‐in‐One Diabetic Wound Therapy
A smart shape‐memory sponge dressing (P1A3@B‐MOF) is developed for accelerated diabetic wound healing. It achieves pH‐responsive corelease of Zn2+ and salvianolic acid B, synergistically providing antibacterial action, repolarizing macrophages to the M2 phenotype, and promoting angiogenesis.

Wide-field histopathology imaging

Interface transmigration reprograms triple‐negative breast cancer cells, triggering a shared switch toward more aggressive and invasive phenotypes. Using a collagen I interface model, this study identifies shared transcriptional changes involving proliferation, chromatin remodeling, and DNA repair pathways.
