A non-canonical visual cortical-entorhinal pathway contributes to spatial navigation

open access: yesNature Communications
Visual information is important for accurate spatial coding and memory-guided navigation. As a crucial area for spatial cognition, the medial entorhinal cortex (MEC) harbors diverse spatially tuned cells and functions as the major gateway relaying ...

FRET prioritization score to choose high-quality hit equity and reduce the impact of interference by quenching and fluorescence

open access: yesSLAS Discovery
Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) proximity assays are commonly used in hit discovery for investigating protein-protein interactions, protein modification, molecular glues and small analytes like cyclicAMP or GDP.

Cracking the Code: Genotype–Phenotype Correlation Models in Sarcoglycanopathies

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Sarcoglycanopathies are among the most severe limb‐girdle muscular dystrophies (LGMD), though milder presentations have been described. These diseases are primarily caused by missense variants, but the limited predictability of their effect on protein maturation, complex formation, and transport has hindered reliable genotype ...

A Depolarizing Leak in Sodium Bicarbonate Cotransporter NBCe1 Causes Brain Edema

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives SLC4A4 encodes electrogenic sodium bicarbonate cotransporter NBCe1, prominently expressed in kidney and brain. Recessive loss‐of‐function variants in SLC4A4 cause proximal renal tubular acidosis, no brain edema. In the brain, NBCe1 is expressed by astrocytes, where it regulates pH and mediates astrocyte volume changes.

Az igazságos világba vetett hit és vallásos meggyőződés szerepe a tartósan beteg, illetve fogyatékkal élő gyermeket nevelő szülők szubjektív jólléte, valamint megküzdési preferenciái tekintetében

open access: yes, 2021
Diplomamunkám tárgya az igazságos világba vetett hit, valamint vallásos meggyőződés szerepe a tartósan beteg, illetve fogyatékkal élő gyermeket nevelő szülők megküzdési stratégiáinak, illetve szubjektív jóllétének alakulásában.

Understanding Further the Phenotypic Spectrum of Central Nervous System Inflammatory Demyelinating Disorders Using Unsupervised Clustering

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Central nervous system (CNS) inflammatory demyelinating syndromes, including multiple sclerosis (MS), aquaporin‐4 antibody–positive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (AQP4 + NMOSD), and myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) antibody–associated disease (MOGAD), occasionally overlap.

Memory and Resting‐State Connectivity in Acute Transient Global Amnesia: A Case–Control fMRI Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Transient global amnesia (TGA) is a striking model of isolated amnesia. While hippocampal lesions are well described, the network‐level mechanisms and the precise neuropsychological profile remain debated. Our objective was thus to characterize functional and neuropsychological correlates of acute TGA and their ...

Comparison of length distribution between hit and no-hit unigenes.

open access: yes, 2013
The horizontal axis indicates length distribution of hit and no-hit assembled unigenes. The vertical axis indicates the percentage of hit and no-hit assembled unigenes.

Early Clinical, Imaging, and Pathological Characteristics of SRPK3/TTN‐Digenic Myopathy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective SRPK3/TTN‐digenic myopathy was recently established as a skeletal muscle myopathy caused by digenic inheritance. This study characterizes the early clinical presentation of SRPK3/TTN‐digenic myopathy in one previously reported and seven newly identified pediatric patients.
