Monocytic HLA DR antigens in schizophrenic patients
Neuroscience Research, 2012A genetic association of specific human leukocyte antigens (HLA) DR genes and schizophrenia has recently been shown. These HLA play a fundamental role in the control of immune responses. Furthermore infectious agents have been proposed to be involved in the pathogenesis of schizophrenia.

HLA-DR antigens in Chinese-American families
Human Immunology, 1982This paper contains results of a study on HLA-DR antigens in Chinese-American families. DR2, DR4, DRw9, and DRw6Y were the most common DR specificities encountered, and DR1 occurred with the lowest frequency. All recognized DR antigens were observed. The frequency of a blank allele was 6.4-12.8%.

Monoclonal antibodies to HLA-DR antigens
Immunology Today, 1984Monoclonal antibodies (Mabs) have been invaluable in the study of human MHC class-11 (or la-like) antigens. For this to continue some pooling of resources was needed and in 1982 the British Medical Research Council's Clinical and Population Cytogenetics Unit in Edinburgh initiated an information exchange scheme on anti-class-11 Mabs in an attempt to ...

Expression of HLA‐DR Antigens on Tlymphocytes
Tissue Antigens, 1980Our data have demonstrated, for the first time, expression of HLA‐DR antigens on heated T cells (45*C, 1 h) and have confirmed the occurrence of these antigens on mitogen‐stimulated T cells.HLA‐DR antigens were detected by microlymphocytotoxicity employing defined and non‐defined anti‐HLA‐DR sera. The HLA‐DR T cell antigens proved to be the same as the

HLA‐DR antigens in multiple sclerosis
Neurology, 1985Fifty to eighty percent of white patients with clinically definite MS express the DR2 antigen. In patients and normal controls who possess the DR2 antigens, analysis of the polymorphic light chain by two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis revealed no structural differences.

A novel molecule expressing HLA-DR antigenic determinants
Human Immunology, 1980Our previous studies suggested that the polymorphism of HLA-DR antigens (the human equivalent of murine I-E antigens) was a result of structural variation in the small (beta) subunit. In order to more accurately define this polymorphism we have expanded these studies to include HLA-DR antigens isolated with monoclonal cells derived from genotypically ...

Structural Analyses of HLA-DR Antigens
1981There has been considerable progress in the characterization of HLA-DR antigens even though these human counterparts of murine and guinea pig Ir gene products were identified only a few years ago. The information available at present concerning the biological, chemical, and structural properties of HLA-DR antigens can be summarized as follows (for a ...

HLA‐DR, DQ antigens in North American Caucasians
Tissue Antigens, 1990Abstract: : HLA‐DR,DQ specificities are determined by serological methods in 2,586 North American Caucasians. Antigen frequency, gene frequency and haplotype frequency are computed for each phenotype observed. The DR. and DQ loci antigen distributions are well‐fitted to a Hardy‐Weinberg equilibrium (p>0.25 for DR locus, p>0.10 for DQ locus). All

[HLA-DR antigens and leukemias].
Casopis lekaru ceskych, 1994In 79 leukaemic subjects (42 with acute leukaemia, 37 with chronic myelosis) the authors assessed HLA-DR antigens 1-5.7 and their frequency. As compared with a group of 130 healthy subjects, no significant difference was found. The results do not support a possible relationship of HLA-DR antigens and leukaemia.
