Large‐Scale Hydrogen Storage: Surface and Subsurface Challenges

open access: yesChemBioEng Reviews, Volume 13, Issue 2, April 2026.
This review examines underground hydrogen storage with emphasis on the interaction between surface facilities and subsurface reservoirs. Variable renewable hydrogen requires compression, buffering, and purification before injection, while subsurface processes influence wellhead pressure, temperature, and composition.

Properties of micro-nano carbon materials/hydrogenated nitrile rubber composites prepared by solution method

open access: yesHecheng xiangjiao gongye
A series of hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR)/carbon nanotubes (CNTs)/graphene (GE) composites were prepared using a solution mixing process, with CNTs and GE as additives. The effects of micro-nano carbon materials on the vulcanization characteristics,

Influence of Acrylonitrile Content on Processing, Morphology, Thermal Behavior, and Mechanical Properties of PA/NBR Thermoplastic Vulcanizates

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 143, Issue 11, March 15, 2026.
Influence of acrylonitrile (ACN) content on the processing behavior and morphological development of PA/NBR thermoplastic vulcanizates. Torque‐time profiles, SEM, and SEM/AFM images show that an intermediate ACN level (38%) promotes improved phase dispersion and morphological uniformity, especially with increased processing time, resulting in the most ...

Effects of Filled Nano-Al2O3 and Its Contents on Friction and Wear Properties of Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber

open access: yesAdvances in Polymer Technology
A new hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR) material filled with silane-modified nano-Al2O3 is developed in this work. Influence of the nano-Al2O3 and its contents on friction and wear performances of the HNBR materials is investigated.

Mechanical, Thermal, and Morphological Properties of PA/NBR TPVs: Influence of Processing Conditions and Recyclability

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 143, Issue 8, February 20, 2026.
Dynamic vulcanization at higher shear rates refines PA/NBR morphology, reduces domain size, and maintains mechanical performance after reprocessing. ABSTRACT Thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPVs) of polyamide 6 and nitrile butadiene rubber (PA/NBR) present excellent mechanical properties but traditionally suffer from performance loss during re‐melt ...

Ultrahigh‐Mass‐Loading Electrodes With Enhanced Homogeneity Using a High‐Concentration Slurry for Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesCarbon Energy, Volume 8, Issue 1, January 2026.
Based on the integrated binder–CNT composite dispersion (IBC) solution, a high‐solids–content (77 wt%) slurry could be prepared. Using this slurry, an ultrahigh‐mass–loading cathode ( > 12 mAh/cm2) is demonstrated. The fabricated electrode showed a uniform CBD distribution from top to bottom, supporting the electrode's excellent mechanical properties ...
