Dynamic vulcanization at higher shear rates refines PA/NBR morphology, reduces domain size, and maintains mechanical performance after reprocessing. ABSTRACT Thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPVs) of polyamide 6 and nitrile butadiene rubber (PA/NBR) present excellent mechanical properties but traditionally suffer from performance loss during re‐melt ...

Friction and wear of HNBR with different fillers under dry rolling and sliding conditions
Peroxide cured hydrogenated acrylonitrile/butadiene rubber (HNBR) compounds with 20 parts per hundred rubber (phr) active fillers, such as carbon black (CB), multiwall carbon nanotube (MWCNT) and silica were produced and their friction and wear ...

Based on the integrated binder–CNT composite dispersion (IBC) solution, a high‐solids–content (77 wt%) slurry could be prepared. Using this slurry, an ultrahigh‐mass–loading cathode ( > 12 mAh/cm2) is demonstrated. The fabricated electrode showed a uniform CBD distribution from top to bottom, supporting the electrode's excellent mechanical properties ...

This article explores a carrier‐type approach for the chemical prelithiation of silicon (Si) powder and investigates the integration of prelithiated silicon (LixSi) as electrolyte‐free anode in sulfide‐based all‐solid‐state batteries. In comparison to a Si anode, the LixSi anodes showed improved cycle stability at 2 C, but revealed kinetic limitations ...

CO2 Permeability in HNBR: Insights for CO2 Transport Applications
ABSTRACT Carbon capture, utilization, and storage is a crucial short‐term strategy to mitigate climate change. Once captured, CO2 needs to be transported to storage sites, and to ensure efficient transport, it is typically compressed into a liquid or supercritical fluid.

Precision in Rubber Seal Lifetime Prediction: The Critical Role of Aspect Ratio
This study examines how specimen geometry affects rubber seal aging predictions. We examine NBR and EPDM samples with varying aspect ratios (AR) under thermo‐oxidative conditions. Analysis includes indentation modulus, hardness, crosslink density, and calorimetric analyses. Results reveal how aspect ratio influences aging behavior.
