In this study, a significant increase in serum NSE, GFAP, CK‐B, IgM and IgM concentrations was determined in dogs with nervous distemper. It was shown that NSE, GFAP and CK‐B biomarkers have a useful and reliable diagnostic value in determining brain damage in dogs with nervous distemper .

This retrospective study evaluated 422 dogs with neurological disorders among 9131 canine referrals over 8.5 years in northeastern Iran. Infectious diseases, particularly canine distemper (33.2%), were the leading cause, followed by trauma and idiopathic conditions. The prosencephalon was the most frequently affected anatomical region.

This study establishes a GeLC‐MS/MS‐based serum proteomics workflow for canine oral oncology to differentiate malignancies from non‐malignant conditions. Comprehensive protein profiling, pathway analysis and protein–drug interaction mapping reveal candidate biomarkers and insights into the pathogenesis of canine oral cancers.
