Helimagnetic thin films: surface reconstruction, surface spin-waves and magnetization
Quantum properties of a helimagnetic thin film of simple cubic lattice with Heisenberg spin model are studied using the Green's function method. We find that the spin configuration across the film is strongly non uniform.

Abstract Industrial ethanol production faces the challenge of balancing metabolic efficiency with the minimization of byproducts such as glycerol, whose formation is intensified by osmotic, thermal, oxidative, and nutritional stresses. In the literature, two main approaches stand out for modulating its synthesis: the use of genetically modified strains

ABSTRACT Human life history is derived compared to that of our closest living relatives, the great apes. It has been suggested that these derived traits are causally related to aspects of our ecology, social behaviour and cognitive abilities. However, resolving this requires that we know the evolutionary trajectory of our distinctive pattern of growth,

Roots in 3-manifold topology [PDF]
Let C be some class of objects equipped with a set of simplifying moves. When we apply these to a given object M in C as long as possible, we get a root of M. Our main result is that under certain conditions the root of any object exists and is unique.

Asymptotic independence in more than two dimensions and its implications on risk management
Abstract In extreme value theory, the presence of asymptotic independence signifies that joint extreme events across multiple variables are unlikely. Although well understood in a bivariate context, the concept remains relatively unexplored when addressing the nuances of simultaneous occurrence of extremes in higher dimensions.

ABSTRACT Objective According to DSM‐5‐TR, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) cannot be diagnosed alongside anorexia nervosa (AN), bulimia nervosa (BN), or any other body image disturbance. This does not accurately reflect real‐world symptomatology and recent research, indicating the potential need to revise DSM‐5‐TR Criteria.
