EFFECT OF OBJECT REPRESENTATION FORM ON DEPTH RESOLUTION OF RESTORED IMAGES OBTAINED BY SYNTHESIZED FRESNEL HOLOGRAMS [PDF]

open access: yesНаучно-технический вестник информационных технологий, механики и оптики, 2019
Subject of the Research. The paper presents the study on the effect of object representation form on the depth resolution of images reconstructed via computer-generated Fresnel holograms-projectors. Method.

Practical Method to Screen Contaminated Holograms of Flocs Using Light Intensity

open access: yesFrontiers in Marine Science, 2021
Submergible digital holographic camera can measure the in situ size and shape of suspended particles, such as complex flocs and biological organisms, without disturbance.

Monochrome Image Hologram (MIH)

open access: yesمجلة بغداد للعلوم, 2008
A new computer-generated optical element called a monochrome image hologram (MIH) is described. A real nonnegative function to represent the transmittance of a synthesized hologram is used.

A digital hologram-based encryption and compression method for 3D models

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2022
This study proposes a novel method to compress and decompress the 3D models for safe transmission and storage. The 3D models are first extracted to become 3D point clouds, which would be classified by the K-means algorithm.

Hadrons as Holograms [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of International Workshop on QCD Green’s Functions, Confinement and Phenomenology — PoS(QCD-TNT09), 2010
We review our recent work on four topics in strong-interaction physics from the perspective of the gauge/gravity correspondence. In particular, we discuss (i) the construction of the ``metric soft wall'' dual for holographic QCD which reproduces the observed linear square-mass trajectories of radially and orbitally excited (light-quark) hadrons, (ii ...

Spectral response of fixed photorefractive grating interference filters [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
We report a theoretical investigation of the frequency response of optical interference filters written in photorefractive materials. Counterpropagating coherent beams interact in the volume of a photorefractive crystal through two-beam coupling.

Generation of Binary Off-axis Digital Fresnel Hologram with Enhanced Quality

open access: yesICT Express, 2015
The emergence of high resolution printer and digital micromirror device (DMD) has enabled real, off-axis holograms to be printed, or projected onto a screen.

The world as a hologram [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 1995
According to ’t Hooft the combination of quantum mechanics and gravity requires the three-dimensional world to be an image of data that can be stored on a two-dimensional projection much like a holographic image. The two-dimensional description only requires one discrete degree of freedom per Planck area and yet it is rich enough to describe all three ...
