One‐dimensional C4N2H14PbBr4 is shown to have a quasi‐direct electronic band structure and strongly anisotropic transport with polarized broadband emission. A GW/Bethe–Salpeter excited‐state force formalism, supported by polarized Raman and temperature‐dependent photoluminescence, identifies low–frequency Pb–Br phonons that drive ultrafast exciton self‐

Secondary Grating Formation by Readout at Bragg-null Incidence [PDF]
We show that when a dynamic hologram is read out by illumination at the Bragg nulls of a previously recorded grating the diffracted beam inside the medium can result in the recording of two secondary gratings that alter the final selectivity curve.

Reduction in the reconstruction error of computer-generated holograms by photorefractive volume holography [PDF]
We suggest a method for coding high-resolution computer-generated volume holograms. It involves splitting the computer-generated hologram into multiple holograms, their individual recording as volume holograms by use of the maximal resolution available ...

Superpositions of the Orbital Angular Momentum for Applications in Quantum Experiments [PDF]
Two different experimental techniques for preparation and analyzing superpositions of the Gaussian and Laguerre-Gassian modes are presented. This is done exploiting an interferometric method on the one hand and using computer generated holograms on the ...

Microfabrication using nano‐ to micron‐sized blocks has transformative potential for next‐gen electronics, optoelectronics, and materials. Traditional methods are limited by scalability and precision. STIC, a single‐laser system for precise colloid manipulation and immobilization using femtosecond lasers, is introduced that enables efficient 3D ...
