Circular holographic video display system

open access: yesOptics Express, 2011
A circular holographic video display system reconstructs holographic video. Phase-only spatial light modulators are tiled in a circular configuration in order to increase the field of view. A beam-splitter is used to align the active area of the SLMs side by side without any gap. With the help of this configuration observers can see 3D ghost-like image

Binocular dynamic holographic floating image display

open access: yesOptics Express, 2021
This paper proposes a binocular holographic floating display. The device consists of two phase-modulation spatial light modulators (SLM) and a dihedral corner reflector array (DCRA) element. The conjugate images of the SLMs generated by the DCRA become the system’s exit pupils.

A dynamic holographic modelling method of digital twin scenes for bridge construction

open access: yesInternational Journal of Digital Earth, 2023
Holographic projection technology can provide a more intuitive and efficient visualization effect for a digital twin bridge construction scene. However, pre-rendering methods in the existing research work are usually used to implement holographic ...

Expansion of Image Space in Enhanced-NA Fresnel Holographic Display

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
The enhanced-NA Fresnel hologram reconstructs a holographic image at a viewing angle larger than the diffraction angle of a hologram pixel. The image space is limited by the bandwidth of a digital hologram.

Full-color see-through near-eye holographic display with 80° field of view and an expanded eye-box.

open access: yesOptics Express, 2020
A full-color see-through near-eye holographic display is proposed with 80° field of view (FOV) and an expanded eye-box. The system is based on a holographic optical element (HOE) to achieve a large FOV while the image light is focused at the entrance to ...

High-Resolution Phase-Only Holographic 3D Display Based on Light Field Images Rendered in the Frequency Domain

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2021
Phase-only holograms are more attractive than the amplitude holograms for the higher energy utilization and the possibility to realize on-axis holographic 3D display without conjugate image.

Projection-type see-through holographic three-dimensional display

open access: yesNature Communications, 2016
The design of holographic displays usually involves a trade-off between size and viewing angle. Here, the authors combine holographic projection with a digitally designed holographic optical element so that display size and the visual angle can be ...

Scalar Field Models of Barrow Holographic Dark Energy in f(R,T) Gravity

open access: yesUniverse, 2022
This research study investigates Barrow holographic dark energy with an energy density of ρΛ=CH2−Δ by considering the Hubble horizon as the IR cut-off in the f(R,T) gravity framework. We employ Barrow holographic dark energy to obtain the equation of the

Curved Holographic Augmented Reality Near-Eye Display System Based on Freeform Holographic Optical Element with Extended Field of View

open access: yesPhotonics
At present, most near-eye display devices adopt flat substrates, which have problems such as limited field of view (FOV) and bulky shape, while the curved structure is expected to expand the FOV with appropriate volume. In this paper, we propose a curved
