Recomposable Layered Metasurfaces for Wavelength‐Multiplexed Optical Encryption via Modular Diffractive Deep Neural Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Modular diffractive deep neural network metasurfaces encode and reconstruct holograms across layer combinations and wavelengths, enabling secure, multifunctional operation. Each layer acts independently yet composes jointly, yielding up to m(2N −1) channels for m wavelengths and N layers.

A human erythrocytes hologram dataset for learning-based model training

open access: yesData in Brief
This manuscript presents a paired dataset with experimental holograms and their corresponding reconstructed phase maps of human red blood cells (RBCs). The holographic images were recorded using an off-axis telecentric Digital Holographic Microscope (DHM)

Aerial Projection 3D Display Based on Integral Imaging

open access: yesPhotonics, 2021
We proposed an aerial projection 3D display based on integral imaging. It is composed of a projector, a lens-array holographic optical element (HOE), and two parabolic mirrors.

Holographic mensuration of suspended particles in aquatic systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
The distribution and dynamics of aggregates in the aquatic environment play an important role in the modelling of biogeochemical processes. Previous work on aggregates in the ocean (e.g.

Lensfree on-chip microscopy over a wide field-of-view using pixel super-resolution. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We demonstrate lensfree holographic microscopy on a chip to achieve approximately 0.6 microm spatial resolution corresponding to a numerical aperture of approximately 0.5 over a large field-of-view of approximately 24 mm2.

Novel Functional Materials via 3D Printing by Vat Photopolymerization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This Perspective systematically analyzes strategies for incorporating functionalities into 3D‐printed materials via Vat Photopolymerization (VP). It explores the spectrum of achievable functionalities in recently reported novel materials—such as conductive, energy‐storing, biodegradable, stimuli‐responsive, self‐healing, shape‐memory, biomaterials, and

Real-time digital holographic microscopy observable in multi-view and multi-resolution

open access: yes, 2010
We propose a real-time digital holographic microscopy, that enables simultaneous multiple reconstructed images with arbitrary resolution, depth and positions, using Shifted-Fresnel diffraction instead of Fresnel diffraction.

Readout fidelity of coaxial holographic digital data page recording in nanoparticle–(thiol–ene) polymer composites [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We report on an experimental investigation of nanoparticle-concentration and thiol-to-ene stoichiometric ratio dependences of symbol error rates (SERs) and signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) of digital data pages recorded at a wavelength of 532 nm in thiol ...

Holographic Whole‐Object Photopolymerization Preserving Director Alignment in Liquid Crystalline Actuators

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Holographic microlithography enables the fabrication of fully connected 3D liquid crystalline structures in a single exposure. The process maintains precise control over the director orientation within the entire object, preventing local director distortions typically observed in sequential printing.
